Macclesfield Netball Club Primary
Macclesfield Netball Club support players from the very start of their netball journey where we currently run Year 2-6 in the primary school age groups. All players follow a common coaching programme set out by Junior Performance Lead Coach. Players must demonstrate a minimum standard of fundamental standards, behaviours and values. We will encourage any new players (Y2-Y6) to come to taster sessions where coaches will assess potential to reach performance standard.
Year 2-4
Years 2, 3 and 4 work on specific fundamental skills which are the start of a players journey at MNC. There can be movements between groups in order for players to progress at performance level. All players in these age groups follow a Fundamental Skills Programme set out by our Junior Performance Coach. Match play opportunities occur at Years 3/4 in which they play at:

Year 5-6
At Year 5 & 6 we aim for all players to have a performance mindset, consistently show fundamental skills and perform to Club Standards, Behaviours and Values. All players follow a coaching programme, lead by Junior Performance Coach.
We aim to have a one performance squad at Year 6 and two squads at Year 5. Match play opportunities are as below:
